Sep 8, 2022

Episode Summary:

How do you navigate major life transitions? Life doesn’t always go the way you planned. How do you find hope when pain and heartache enter your story? If you are struggling with an unexpected and unwanted transition in your life, today is the episode for you. Page Geske shares how to navigate life transitions triumphantly. There is hope for the journey.

Quotables from the episode:

  • Our physical scars can point people to Jesus if we allow them to.
  • When navigating a difficult transition, you have to choose to press into God and trust Him regardless of the outcome.
  • Instead of asking “Why me?” It’s more productive to ask “Why not me?”
  • God gives a test and develops a testimony to those who will testify about what God has done.

Scripture References:

  • Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT “Trust in the Lord with all your heart; do not  depend on your own understanding,  seek His will in all you do, and He will show you which path to take.”
  • 1 Corinthians 6:19 NLT “Don’t you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit; who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself.”
  • John 14:26 NIV “But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”

Page Geske’s professional career involved being a former campus pastor with InterVarsity Christian Fellowship. She also worked in the healthcare industry, and as a sales professional within the advertising industry. Her professional life has been as important as the adversities in defining her. She experienced a severe automobile accident with many subsequent surgeries and rehabilitation, and the loss of a marriage at a time when she needed support most. Yet despite it all, Page has intentionally pursued living out loud according to God’s original design.
